Founded in 1998 the design firm NEEDBASED inc has been located in Baca since 2007. We are passionate about architecture and bring this to focus on integrating deep environmental design with beauty, function, and affordability. Our offices and home are the first certified Passive Houses in New Mexico which is the most rigorous building standard worldwide.
By incorporating exemplary building science with highly functional spaces we integrate the best of sustainable practices such as net zero energy with a modern New Mexican vision. This provides comfortable and open living and work environments which cost little to heat and cool, are healthy, comfortable and will provide generations a robust and flexible environment.
